We usually associate “skiing” with snow-capped mountains, not deserts. But in Dubai, this cliché is shattered: here, skiers and snowboarders surf on artificial snow in the middle of the desert! This cool innovation comes from the Majid Al Futtaim Group, known for the Mall of the Emirates.
Welcome to Ski Dubai – an icy paradise spanning 22,500 square meters with five slopes for all skill levels. The facility feels as authentic as an Alpine lodge, complete with wood interiors and snowy rooftops. The highlight: it’s open year-round, even when the outside temperature hits 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit)!
