10. Roger Ebert & Chaz Ebert
Film critic Roger Ebert met Chaz Hammelsmith at a Chicago AA meeting in 1992 and married her later that year. She became his rock during health struggles until his passing in 2013.
Chaz continues Roger’s legacy through film festivals and charity. Their partnership proved that love and intellectual companionship can conquer illness and time.
