#18 Morteza Mehrzad – 8 ft 1 in (246 cm), Iran (living)
Morteza Mehrzad, Iran’s tallest man, is a three-time Paralympic sitting volleyball gold medalist (2016, 2020, 2024). Born in 1987, his gigantism has not stopped him from becoming a national sports hero.
He uses his height to dominate on the court. Mehrzad’s athletic success proves that giants can achieve greatness despite physical challenges.
