André Roussimoff, known as André the Giant, became a wrestling legend and actor (Princess Bride). Born in 1946, he stood officially 7 ft 4 in but many sources claimed taller due to acromegaly. He passed in 1993.
André’s charisma made him a global star. His size was both his greatest asset and challenge, leading to mobility issues later in life.
