#5 Siah Khan – 8 ft 6 in (259 cm), Iran

Siah Khan from Iran was afflicted with Proteus syndrome, a rare overgrowth condition, reaching 8 ft 6 in before his death around age 24–25 in 1948. He lived in a remote area and became locally legendary for his size.
The syndrome caused asymmetric bone and tissue growth, making daily tasks nearly impossible. Khan’s story is one of isolation and medical mystery. Though less documented than Western giants, his verified measurements place him among the absolute tallest ever recorded.
