Safety Hazard at Caribbean Airport
Airports around the world have plenty of signs, but this one is quite rare. This sign is at Princess Juliana Airport on St. Maarten in the Caribbean, warning travelers to stay clear of the runway that lies dangerously close to the parking lot.
Not only does this pose a serious safety risk, but it also gives the Caribbean a bad reputation when it comes to airport security.
