They Needed a Lot of Polishing
While the twins certainly had the looks, that didn’t automatically translate to modeling skills. During their first photo session, Jaqi quickly realized that posing for the camera wasn’t as effortless as it seemed. Though Ava and Leah were photogenic, they still needed guidance and practice. The early days were full of lessons in patience, timing, and coordination. For Jaqi, it was a reminder that every model, no matter how naturally gifted, has to start somewhere and grow into the role.
Reflecting on one of their early shoots, Jaqi said, “Ava would look at the camera while Leah would stare off into space… Leah would accidentally bump into Ava, who of course thought it was on purpose and would shove her back.” It was clear the journey would be full of both charm and chaos.
