Making It Through Another Night
After James agreed, the two tried to make the most of the rest of the day. The day was mostly uneventful, but as evening gradually approached and dusk deepened, the worry of spending another night in this house crossed their minds. They could both tell the other was a little anxious about them going to bed. Eventually, they both fell asleep, but once again something woke Mandy in the middle of the night.

Waking up, she saw James sleeping next to her. In the middle of the night, she found James covered in sweat, trying to pry open the air vent.
