Ellen DeGeneres | $47 Million | Beverly Hills, California
The entertainer and her partner, Portia de Rossi, are making real estate history yet again. After selling their Beverly Hills estate for $47 million – a mansion originally purchased from singer Adam Levine in 2019 for $42.5 million – they’re proving their business acumen once more. The 10,000-square-foot property, once an Andalusian-style garden temple, was transformed into an eco-luxury residence by French interior designers.
Highlights include the interactive garden system with automated irrigation that collects rainwater from the roof, as well as the 50-foot saltwater pool with an underwater LED symphony. The garage not only houses 12 luxury sedans but also a mini automobile museum with vehicles from the 1950s. The sale after only two years of ownership underscores their concept: “Luxury isn’t a home, it’s an investment – sometimes with a two-year holding period.”
