Trift Bridge (Switzerland)

Over the years, there have been small changes and big changes. Climate change is definitely an example of the latter. While significant investments have been made to address this issue, projects have also been undertaken to adapt to our ever-changing world.

One such project is the Trift Bridge in Switzerland. One of Switzerland’s attractions, the Trift Hut, could be reached by walking through a glacier just a few decades ago. However, as the years passed, walking became no longer an option. The Trift Bridge was used instead. Initially created as an alternative, this change was definitely welcomed by many. Not only did it become relatively convenient, but it also offered stunning views of the surrounding scenery. Maybe a 1.5-hour hike wouldn’t be so bad after all.
