32. The Self-Playing Piano Glove
This glove promised to turn anyone into a piano prodigy. Tiny mechanical fingers on the glove would tap the piano keys in perfect rhythm as the wearer moved their hand.
Unfortunately, the glove was clunky, heavy, and often out of sync. Instead of beautiful melodies, users got awkward clattering sounds and sore hands. It was a fun party trick but never replaced real practice. Still, the idea of robotic fingers tickling ivories was way ahead of its time — just poorly executed.
