Ports Aren’t Always Pretty
You might expect every cruise stop to be a slice of paradise, but many ports are functional and industrial in nature. Large cement docks, cranes, and warehouses dominate the first views as you disembark. It’s a far cry from the tropical dream you imagined when booking your ticket.
Don’t let that first impression ruin your stop. These ports are just entry points, and beyond them lie beaches, towns, and landscapes worth exploring. While your Instagram feed might not benefit from the port itself, the nearby destinations still have plenty to offer.
