Illness Spreads Fast

With thousands of people sharing dining rooms, elevators, pools, and handrails, it’s no surprise that illness can spread quickly on a cruise. Even one sick passenger can set off a chain reaction, causing outbreaks of colds, stomach bugs, or the flu. Crew members work hard to maintain cleanliness, but close quarters mean germs travel fast.

Handwashing and sanitizing are essential onboard. Use the sanitizing stations placed around the ship, and avoid touching your face. If you feel unwell, visit the medical center and try to isolate. A little caution goes a long way in keeping yourself and others healthy.
