Margarine
Most things are best in moderation, and that goes for margarine too. As a substitute for butter, margarine isn’t exactly doing your body any favors, especially after you hit 60. It’s genuinely bad for you, to the point where you should probably cut it out of your diet altogether. Margarine is packed with trans fats and saturated fats. These fats increase your bad cholesterol and lower your good cholesterol.

The best advice is to just avoid margarine completely. Instead, opt for real butter or oils; you’ll be miles ahead in terms of your health.
