Nicolas Cage & Riko Shibata
Nicolas Cage couldn’t be happier – his marriage to Riko Shibata fills him with joy. Things got especially exciting for the couple when it was announced in January 2022 that they were expecting a child, just a few months after their wedding.
The two met in Japan through mutual acquaintances. Their relationship gained momentum when Cage accompanied her on a trip in 2020 to a tomb he had purchased ten years earlier. The couple made their first public appearance in July 2021, when they attended the premiere of his film *Pig* together. Shortly thereafter, Shibata graced the cover of *Flaunt Magazine*. Cage later recounted that he proposed to her while they were in a long-distance relationship and hadn’t seen each other for six months. They had planned a wedding in Kyoto, but ultimately opted for a ceremony at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on February 16, 2021.
