Helge Braun & Katja Braun
Helge Braun is a physician and politician who has been a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 1990. He studied medicine at the Justus Liebig University of Giessen, where he also earned his doctorate. He currently serves as Chairman of the Budget Committee and is a member of the Hessian State Parliament.
Braun’s political career began with his work in the Young Union (JU), initially as a member and later as chairman. He has held various political offices, including Chief of Staff to the Federal Minister for Special Tasks from 2018 to 2021 and State Minister for Deregulation and Better Legislation from 2013 to 2018. Little is known about his marriage to Katja Braun, and the duration of their relationship remains unclear.
