Female Police Unit
Dubai places great importance on addressing gender issues. That’s why the city has a female police unit that deals with issues related to gender equality, as well as fraud and theft in the city.
The members of this unit are selected from the existing female police officers in the city. These women have gained experience in police stations, monitored criminals, and protected important individuals. In addition, the policewomen are expected to be fluent in both Arabic and English to meet the needs of the multicultural population.
