A Change of Scenery

You’ve probably heard the saying, “Things look different when you change your perspective.” This idea has many applications, but photographers especially enjoy this shift in viewpoint. Great photographers have the skill to take something familiar and give it a completely different impression by looking at it from another angle.

One example is photographer Tomasz Kowalski. He used a drone to photograph buildings from the air, making them look like alien structures. In fact, these buildings were the Petronas Towers in Malaysia, one of the tallest buildings in the world. This photo creates a fantastical atmosphere, as if seen through a kaleidoscope.
