Devil’s Bridge (Germany)
At this point, we’ve seen our fair share of the world’s most dangerous bridges. Of course, the reasons each bridge made the article were often visible ones, such as the structure’s age or the instability of its foundations. But when it comes to this bridge, there are explanations from a more supernatural angle.
Back in a time before cars and gas stations, the Rakotzbrücke, which translates to “Devil’s Bridge” in German, was quite the sight to behold. With its semi-circular shape, and the way it reflects in the water to create a perfect sphere, it was initially believed to have been built by otherworldly beings, hence the name. Now, the story makes for an interesting tale worth sharing, and the bridge has become the subject of many beautiful photos on social media.
