The Taxi Coincidences in Bermuda
In 1975, a moped rider in Bermuda was struck and killed by a taxi. A year later, his younger brother rode the same moped on the same route – and also died in an accident at the exact same intersection.
The shock was immense when it turned out that it wasn’t just the same taxi – but also the same driver, even with the same passenger. The police described the case as “a chain of extreme coincidences.” For the family, it was a double tragedy that could never be fully processed.
