The Magic Face Eraser was a handheld gadget that claimed to “zap” away wrinkles and blemishes with a swipe, promising a facelift without surgery or creams. Its glowing blue light and buzzing sound suggested some kind of high-tech miracle in the palm of your hand.
Unfortunately, the “magic” was largely placebo. Dermatologists laughed at its claims, noting that actual wrinkle removal needs more than a plastic wand.
