Queue Screamer (In-Ride Actor)

Some theme parks employ actors to scream or cry while waiting in ride lines—just to boost the “horror atmosphere.” You’re not in the show, not part of the ride—just hired to creep people out while they’re stuck in a 45-minute line.

It’s performance art, but deeply awkward. You might whisper nursery rhymes or randomly wail. Sometimes guests play along. Sometimes they call security. Either way, you go home hoarse and wondering what your drama school tuition really bought you.
