Germany, 3rd in Airbus
When it comes to using pricey planes for their head of state, Germany is also nowhere near the United States or Mexico. While Chancellor Angela Merkel actually has quite a few planes at her disposal, the most well-known is the $300 million former Lufthansa Airbus A340. Of course, it has been modified into a luxurious aircraft at this point to have the appropriate experience and comes complete with state-of-the-art anti-missile defense technology.
