Knowing Saudi Arabia and the immense wealth that comes as a result of the oil and resources within its borders, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that King Abdullah spent over $520 million on the Boeing 747 he uses for travel. What started as a relatively low-cost aircraft ended up costing hundreds of millions more to renovate.
