Basenji
The Basenji is a natural-born hunter, known for its intelligence and independence. While they can be very affectionate with their owners, they’re often anxious or reserved around strangers. Training a Basenji can be quite challenging due to their stubborn nature, making complete domestication more complicated than with other breeds.
This stubbornness can also influence how they interact with children, especially if the dog hasn’t been socialized from a young age. Without consistent training and supervision, they might not be the most reliable companions for little ones.
