Monteverde Rainforest Bridge (Costa Rica)
Nestled within the Monteverde rainforest in Costa Rica lies an extremely precarious suspension bridge. This bridge is constructed from what appear to be randomly placed wooden planks, with gaps roughly the size of a foot between them. Many of these planks are also rotting, making them seem like they could give way at any moment.
Furthermore, the ropes supporting the bridge are incredibly thin, raising doubts about whether they could even hold the weight of a child. The Monteverde rainforest is home to dangerous creatures, like jaguars and snakes, making crossing the bridge an inherently risky endeavor. Considering the dangers of falling from the bridge, it makes for an even more terrifying experience.
