Windsor Bridge (Gibraltar)
The Windsor Suspension Bridge, opened on June 21, 2016, in Gibraltar, was designed by Bovis Koala Ltd. in the presence of senior Gibraltar government officials. Stretching 71 meters in length, it’s situated in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, offering panoramic views of the Bay of Gibraltar and the city. A real stunner!
This suspension bridge forms part of the Royal Anglian Way hiking route, connecting two batteries. You might feel a bit of a sway when crossing, but locals trust the bridge’s safety. So, any slight wobble while crossing just adds to the thrill and adventure for visitors.
