Devil’s Bridge (Germany)
I’ve seen many dangerous bridges around the world, but most of the time, the reasons are visible, such as structural aging or unstable foundations. However, in the case of this bridge, the explanation involves more supernatural aspects.
In the days before cars and gas stations, there was the “Rakotzbrücke,” known in German as the “Devil’s Bridge.” This bridge is semi-circular, and when reflected in the water, it appears as a complete circle, giving the impression that it was created by otherworldly beings, hence the name. Nowadays, this story is considered an interesting one worth sharing, and many beautiful photos are shared on social media.
