Separate and Anxious
As hospital staff wheeled Lilly away for further testing, Pradeep felt helpless. He wanted to stay by her side, but the needs of their newborns forced him to return home. The distance, both physical and emotional, weighed heavily on him. He feared missing important updates while being away.
Before he left, a nurse assured him that they would contact him as soon as results came in or if Lilly’s condition changed. But that didn’t bring much comfort. All he could do now was wait at home, holding his babies, and pray that everything would be okay with the woman he loved.
