Clues in the Corner

My exploration eventually led to a neatly stacked pile of fitness magazines tucked in a corner, partially hidden beneath folded clothes. They were filled with articles about experimental therapies, adaptive fitness routines, and physical recovery methods. Several pages had been dog-eared and highlighted, showing a level of engagement that couldn’t be accidental.

Beside the magazines were handwritten notes—some detailing workout routines, others listing motivational quotes or links to YouTube videos. As I read them, a pattern emerged: this wasn’t a whim, but a long-term plan. Alan had clearly been working on himself in secret, pouring energy and hope into something he hadn’t wanted to share—at least not yet.
