Donna Douglas as ‘Elly May Clampett’ – The Beverly Hillbillies, 1962
In the following image, the renowned actress and singer Donna Douglas takes on the role of Elly May Clampett in the popular CBS television series from the 1960s, “The Beverly Hillbillies.” From 1962 to 1971, Douglas charmed audiences with her portrayal of the kind-hearted and animal-loving daughter, the only child of Jed and Rose Ellen Clampett. Hailing from East Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana, Donna Douglas, much like her Hillbilly character, embodies the spirit of a genuine and nature-loving Southern lady.
