A New Start
Before anything else could improve, a major decision had to be made. The parents realized that the toxic environment their kids faced at school was causing lasting damage. To protect them and offer a clean break from judgment and bullying, they enrolled the children in a different school. It was a step toward giving them a healthier emotional space.
They also sat down as a family—something they hadn’t done since the divorce. In that conversation, they allowed the children to speak freely and promised to rebuild trust. It was the beginning of a new chapter where both parents aimed to prioritize the kids above all else.
