Windsor Bridge (Gibraltar)
The Windsor Suspension Bridge, inaugurated on June 21, 2016, in Gibraltar, was designed by Bovis Koala, in the presence of Gibraltar’s government officials. Stretching 71 meters in length, it’s situated in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Bay of Gibraltar and the city.
This suspension bridge forms part of the Royal Anglian Way hiking route, connecting two gun batteries. While crossing, you might experience some swaying, but locals are confident in the bridge’s safety. Therefore, the slight wobble as you traverse the bridge should be seen as part of the thrill and adventure for visitors.
