Mekong River Crossing (China)
While many enjoy a good challenge, there are quite a few people who leverage their credit card points to visit tourist spots all over the world, but some even stumble upon bridges and mountain paths by chance. However, this particular bridge isn’t open to the public and is mainly used by local fishermen.
The Mekong River is the 12th longest river in the world, flowing through several countries including Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia. There are various ways to cross this river, but one fisherman uses a method he created himself. Samnieng built his homemade bridge with two high wires, crossing while only secured by a harness for safety.
