Stork Nests

In 2013, Polish photographer Szymon Pawlak dreamed of capturing images of stork nests. Two years later, in 2015, his efforts bore fruit as he completed stunning photographs using a drone. Storks are large birds with long legs and strong beaks, and their nests are equally impressive.

Storks inhabit dry areas and feed on fish, insects, frogs, and more. The large nests they build can be used for many years, and the structure itself is a fascinating sight. This photograph is a wonderful piece that combines the wonders of the natural world with drone technology.
