A wolfdog is a hybrid of a domestic dog and a wolf, and inherently possesses an unpredictable nature. Due to its close lineage to the wild, it’s extremely difficult to train, and retains many instinctive behaviors.

Due to these characteristics, they are generally considered unsuitable as pets, especially in households with children, from a safety perspective.
