Belgian Malinois
As the name suggests, the Belgian Malinois hails from Belgium and is known for its sharp intelligence, high energy, and unwavering work ethic. Often mistaken for German Shepherds, they stand out in police, military, and security roles due to their speed, agility, and intense focus. However, their strong protective instincts can make them quickly aggressive towards small children or unfamiliar animals.
Their bite force is said to reach 195 PSI, requiring careful handling and respect. Despite their beautiful appearance, they are not a breed for beginners. Malinois truly excel under experienced and firm leadership. This is why they are highly valued as military working dogs. Intelligent, brave, and extremely driven, they are by no means a “casual family dog.”
