Capilano Suspension Bridge (Canada)

The Capilano Suspension Bridge, located in Vancouver, Canada, opened in 1889 and has been attracting tourists ever since. This bridge is 450 feet long and 230 feet high, situated above the Capilano River amidst a lush evergreen forest landscape. Although the bridge sways, it is relatively safe with complete handrails.

The Capilano Suspension Bridge is one of Canada’s main tourist attractions, offering not only the suspension bridge itself but also a variety of attractions, including Indigenous art, the Cliffwalk located on the edge of the canyon, and trails and rope bridges that connect through the forest. The area is open year-round, and from mid-November to the third week of January, the famous Christmas event “Canyon Lights” is held on the bridge, with many seasonal events also held from June to October.
