Trift Bridge (Switzerland)

Over time, some changes are minor, while others are quite significant. Climate change is one major example of such a significant shift. Addressing this issue requires substantial investment, and projects are being implemented to adapt flexibly to the changes.

One such project is the “Trift Bridge” in Switzerland. It used to be possible to walk the glacial path leading to the Trift Hut, but over time, that option was no longer viable. The bridge was built as a replacement. Originally constructed as an alternative, this change has been embraced by many visitors. Thanks to the bridge, the magnificent surrounding scenery can be enjoyed more easily, turning a 1.5-hour hike into a leisurely stroll.
