The sea has always been a place that’s captivated the curious and adventurous alike, sparking the imagination. It’s always held a certain allure and mystery, compelling folks to explore it or, failing that, to gaze at its depths from afar, listening to the crash of the waves. Painters have captured this image in their minds and transformed it into something entirely different.

Poets have described the waves as the ebb and flow of events in life. Aside from the fleeting observations and ephemeral moments that the sea evokes, there seems to be another way to enjoy it: water skiing with an inflatable boat. It’s pretty obvious how wild the sea can be sometimes, as the girls in this perfectly timed photo demonstrate. Assuming that rafting was simply a boat ride was perhaps the biggest mistake they’ll ever make.
