Virginie Fernández, known professionally as Virginie Ledoyen, is a striking French beauty and an accomplished actress with an impressive filmography. Born on November 15, 1976, in Aubervilliers, France, she’s captured hearts in numerous French films but is perhaps best recognized for her portrayal of Françoise, Étienne’s girlfriend, in the movie “The Beach.”
The film, packed with drama and adventure, is based on Alex Garland’s novel “The Beach.” Ledoyen starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Tilda Swinton, doing justice to her role in this moderately successful John Hodge adaptation.
