Carrie Fisher (“Star Wars”, 1977)
As the daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, Carrie Fisher was perfectly positioned to make her mark on the Hollywood industry. In addition to her work as an actress, she was also a brilliant writer, penning films like “Hook” and “Wishful Drinking.”
She left an indelible mark on the acting industry as Princess Leia in the science fiction film “Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope,” which also starred Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill. Before being cast in the role, Fisher had to lose 10 pounds. Fisher was also nominated for a Saturn Award four times for her role in “Star Wars.”
