Call of the Sea

The sea has always been a place that has attracted both the curious and adventurers to ignite their imaginations. There has always been a special allure and mystique that has led men to explore it, or if that wasn’t possible, to contemplate its depths from afar and listen to the sound of the crashing waves. Painters have captured this image in their minds and transformed it into something completely different.

Poets have described the waves as the ebb and flow of life’s events. Besides the fleeting glimpses and ephemeral moments that the sea evokes, there seems to be another way to enjoy it: waterskiing behind a rubber boat. It’s clear how wild the sea can sometimes be, as the girls in this perfectly timed photo demonstrate. Assuming that whitewater rafting is just a simple boat ride was perhaps the biggest mistake they will never make again.
