Giant Venomous Lizard: The Komodo Dragon
The Komodo dragon, the world’s largest lizard, resides in Indonesia, with individuals exceeding 3 meters in length having been observed in the past. Its teeth are sharp and serrated, and a bite can tear not only the skin but also the muscle. Furthermore, the venom in its saliva can cause unceasing bleeding from the wound, potentially leading to a life-threatening situation.
Though often perceived as slow due to its size, it actually possesses the ability to run at 20 km/h and relentlessly pursues its prey. There have been five reported deaths to date, making it a creature feared even by local residents. Encountering a wild Komodo dragon means the only way to protect yourself is to absolutely not approach it.
