Lion: King of the Wild
Lions are known as the “King of Beasts,” but there have been incidents where they actually attack humans. According to 2005 statistics from Tanzania, 563 people were victims of lion attacks over a 15-year period, with cases of nighttime attacks being particularly common.
In Japan, lions are mostly seen only in zoos, but incidents of attacks during captivity in sanctuaries in places like America have also been reported. It is crucial never to let your guard down and become “too comfortable” around lions; no matter how domesticated they may seem, their wild instincts must never be ignored.
