There’s almost nothing better than a big bucket of buttery, salty popcorn while you’re watching a movie. But, as you probably guessed, it’s not exactly a health food. Buttered popcorn is loaded with saturated fat and sodium, which can lead to health problems like heart disease and high blood pressure. Making your own popcorn at home is a much healthier option because you can control the amount of butter and salt you add.
