Meant to Be
Once again, Matt and Laura were headed in different directions, this time for college. Laura chose Northern Arizona University, while Matt moved all the way to Chicago to attend Columbia College. It was a big change, but they both knew their love was worth fighting for. Distance wouldn’t pull them apart like it had after preschool—they were determined to stay connected no matter what.
What Laura didn’t know was that Matt still held tight to the promise he made so many years ago as a preschooler. That vow, once laughed at by classmates, remained just as serious in Matt’s heart. And soon, he would prove just how real it still was.
