Langkawi Sky Bridge (Malaysia)
The Langkawi Sky Bridge, located on the resort island of Langkawi in Malaysia, is a relatively new structure completed in 2005. This bridge is designed to appear as if it’s floating in the air, with a total length of 125 meters and is situated on a mountain peak. To reach this bridge, which is 660 meters above sea level, you first need to take a cable car up the mountain. The cable car accommodates six people and takes a route that climbs almost vertically from a certain point.
The cable car floor is made of glass, which is already enough to make your heart race. After arriving at the mountain top station, you can walk or take the SkyGlide to the bridge. Upon reaching the Sky Bridge, its height and the strong winds create a new sense of terror. It is recommended to leave behind anything that might be blown away, and those with lighter weights should be especially careful.
