Pekinese

Despite their small size and delicate appearance, Pekinese are independent and courageous dogs. Surprisingly, they don’t constantly crave attention or affection.

Their strong-willed personality can, however, be a challenge. Children need to understand how to set boundaries and take the lead, otherwise, the dog might become stubborn or standoffish.
