The inspiration for this artwork comes from the character Jade from theMortal Kombatvideo game series. Jade’s a stone-cold assassin and spy with skills that’ll knock your socks off in a fight. She’s got these razor-rangs and staffs she uses to get the upper hand. Some of her famous moves include the “Deadly Butterfly,” “Delia’s Dance,” and “Divine Forces.”

In the games, Jade’s tight with Princess Kitana, who’s like, a general in the Edenian army. Jade’s also got a thing going on with Kotal Kahn, and she’s got this sassy, confident vibe, even though she’s seriously dangerous to anyone who crosses her. You definitely wouldn’t wanna mess with her, that’s for sure.
